Stade Philippe Rasseneur - Vieux Chemin de Mons, Vaulx (Tournay = Tournai = Doornik) (Renouveau US Tournai - B ground, formerly SC Vallois / RFC Tournai Section Féminine / B ground of FC Vétérans Vaulx - FC Vaulx - Renouveau US Tournai-Warcoing)

Belgium, province: Hainaut = Henegouwen

April 2022 / no match visited

Note: Sporting Club Vallois, founded in August 1971 (matricule 7652), took part in Hainaut's Provincial League 4 for the first time in the 1972-73 season. In the twenty-four following years, the club never managed to win promotion to climb out of the bottom division. After SC Vallois folded in 1996, their ground at Vieux Chemin de Mons probably was out of use for some seasons, though no certainty can be given on this matter. At some point in or after 2002, the premises were taken over by RFC Tournai's female branch, who played their football at the ground - renamed Stade Philippe Rasseneur in those years in honour of RFC Tournai's president - until 2012. For one year, the ground was left to its own devices, as the clubhouse was inhabited by a squatter. In 2013, the premises were taken over by FC Vétérans Vaulx, a longtime recreational club who had acceded to the provincial league pyramid in 2010 (matricule 9554). This club, with their own Plaine de la Trondeloire at a mere stone's throw away from SC Vallois' former ground, were keen to take over the abandoned pitch for lower team football and training purposes. In the following years, FC Vétérans Vaulx changed their name to become FC Vaulx (2014-16), Renouveau US (RUS) Tournai (2016-20), RUS Tournai-Warcoing (2020-22), and back to RUS Tournai (2022), but the club have continued to use the Stade Philippe Rasseneur as their B ground.
