Note: FC Denderzonen Pamel, founded in 1944 (matricule 4184) and active members of the Belgian Football Association from 1945 onwards, took up playing at the ground at Belle Alliance in mid-1948. FC Denderzonen played eleven seasons of national league football in Division 4, subdivided in three different periods between 1960 and 1975. In April 2018, Belgium's FA suspended the club due to their heavy debts to the association. Subsequently, Denderzonen's board saw no other option but to cease all activities and liquidate the club. At the time of my visit, in February 2019, people present at the ground - who were busy renovating the premises - assured me a new club, Pamel 2020, would see the daylight in the summer of 2019, but somehow these plans never materialised.
